Paid Activities in Sage/2C9/PeoplePay

In the context of the SAGE/2C9/People Pay integration, Paid Activities are specific Activity types within Skedulo designated for processing and transmission to the SAGE/2C9/People Pay system during the timesheet approval process.

The purpose of integrating Paid Activities is to ensure that time or allowances associated with non-Job activities, such as travel or sleepover disturbances, are accurately captured and transferred to SAGE/2C9/People Pay for correct payment. This automation reduces manual data entry and maintains data consistency between the two systems.

Upon approval of a Skedulo timesheet, the integration logic evaluates all activities designated as Paid Activities. Depending on the Activity type and its associated data (e.g., kilometers traveled), these activities will create either Timesheet Entries or Timesheet Items in SAGE/2C9/People Pay.

  • Activities that represent periods of work, such as a sleepover disturbance during an inactive period, are processed as Timesheet Entries.
  • Activities that represent allowances, such as travel allowances, are processed as Timesheet Items.
