On hold logic - When a new job is created
Understand how the on hold logic works when creating a new job

If a new job is created when the On Hold flag is checked AND the job Scheduled date is within the On Hold Start date and the Planned Return date, then a pop-up message is displayed to warn the user that the customer is on Hold (Only applicable to Job creation via the standard interface when creating a job from a Customer contact in Salesforce.)

  • The user can either cancel or continue with the new job creation.
  • If the user chooses to cancel, no further action is required.

If the user chooses to Continue, then the on-hold rules relevant to that customer are applied.
