SAGE/2C9/PeoplePay Tag Integration

This user guide provides guidance on configuring and utilising the Tag Integration functionality between SAGE/2C9/People Pay and Skedulo. This feature facilitates the one-way synchronisation of payroll-specific tags from SAGE/2C9/People Pay to Skedulo, enabling their use for administrative and scheduling purposes.

The purpose of Tag Integration is to ensure that payroll-specific tags, which are mastered in SAGE/2C9/People Pay, are accurately reflected and available within Skedulo. As SAGE/2C9/People Pay is the source of truth for these tags, this integration allows administrators and schedulers to leverage them for relevant reporting and to meet scheduling requirements.

Data Flow

The Tag Integration operates as a one-way synchronisation from SAGE/2C9/People Pay to Skedulo. SAGE/2C9/People Pay serves as the master data source for all payroll-specific tags.

The integration involves the synchronisation of data between the following Salesforce objects:

Skedulo;

  • Resource
  • Tag
  • Resource Tag

Sage/2c9/People/Pay;

  • Payee
  • Credential (2c9)
  • Employee Credential (2c9)

Configuration

Implementing the Tag Integration requires the following configuration steps.

  • A development ticket must be raised to configure the specific field mappings required for the integration to function correctly.

Enable Tag Synchronisation

  • Navigate to Setup > Custom Settings in Salesforce.
  • Select Sage Integration Settings.
  • Click Manage.
  • Locate and enable the following checkboxes:
    • Enable Tag Sync: Controls the creation of Tags in Skedulo from Credentials in SAGE/2C9/People Pay.
    • Enable Resource Tag Sync: Controls the creation of Resource Tags in Skedulo from Payee Credentials in SAGE/2C9/People Pay.
  • Click Save.
