Overview of Lumary job billing logic

Job records are used to capture information related to the job itself, the client(s) related to the Job, the resources doing the job and the service details used for billing. A billable job will send service details data back to Lumary for the creation of service delivered records used for billing purposes.

The Non-Billable option enables schedulers to define jobs that are not billed through a Lumary service delivered record. These jobs may involve alternative billing arrangements, or they are being provided on a philanthropic basis. For example:

  • Supported independent living (SIL) operates on a scheduled Lumary Billing cycle. This is applied separately to the service delivered record process.
  • Some jobs may be delivered free of charge to some clients, based on individual circumstances and needs.
Note: The ‘Service Delivered’ creation process is managed by Lumary. Refer to Lumary articles Introduction to service delivered records and Calculate funding and schedule automatic service delivery.
